IMH has recently updated our laser cutting capabilities with a 2017 Mazak Optiplex 3015 6000 Watt Fiber Laser, Amada EN3015AJ 3000 Watt Fiber Laser and a 2016 Cincinnati CL-940 4000-watt Fiber Laser. This allows IMH to offer extremely high speed cutting capabilities resulting in lower costs for our customers. The fiber laser system is also superior to many Co2 lasers when cutting reflective material such as aluminum or galvanized steel, and still is as effective on mild steel.

Laser cutting offers quick turn around with no tooling parts making it an excellent choice prototype parts. Our fiber machine can hold tolerances up to 0.001965”. IMH uses industry leading CAD based software to efficiently nest parts on sheets to give us the best possible material usage, saving our customers money.
