Metal Stamping Services

IMH Products provides contract metal stamping and precision metal fabrication services. IMH has 46 presses ranging from 40 tons to 800 tons and can design and build tooling for a wide variety of metals. Many of our presses have are set up with coil feeding systems. Most commonly used are carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel.

IMH has mechanical and hydraulic presses available. We have presses with bed sizes up to 60’ x 84”. IMH has a team of experienced tool and die makers that can create tooling for our customers as well as expertly repair and maintain existing dies. We welcome the challenge of working with older die sets. Many of the dies we run are progressive die sets.

Continuous Feed Coil Stamping

Continuous feed coil stamping incorporates many different steps into one metal forming process. A metal substrate feeds through a metal stamping die with multiple stations, and each station in the pressing tool performs a different bending or forming action so that the substrate undergoes progressive stages of forming throughout the process. Having one die set containing all the tools needed for a component’s production is more efficient than traditional processes, which require multiple tools that the operator will switch out after each press. Progressive die stamping allows for the fast and cost-effective production of more accurate goods.
